Biography

TRISTA MOLDOVAN (Swing,u/s Madame Giry). Joins directly from playing Nina Formby in the Broadway national tour of Parade (Tony award winner for best musical revival and best direction by Michael Arden, 2023). In the world of The Phantom of the Opera she garnered a Denver Ovation nomination for her performance as Christine Daaé on the national tour, subsequently taking over the role on Broadway in time for the celebrated 10,000th performance. After enjoying a three-year stint as Christine, she graduated to and earned rave reviews for her work as Carlotta in Cameron Mackintosh's reimagined Spectacular New Phantom until the tour closed in 2020. In 2022 she returned once more to Phantom on Broadway serving as a Carlotta understudy until the production's historic closing in 2023. She holds the distinct honor of being one of four women to have played both Christine and Carlotta on Broadway in the show's 35-year run.

Regional: Denver Center, Bay Street Theatre, Riverside Theatre, Arkansas Rep, Pioneer Theater Co, Gateway Playhouse, Actors' Playhouse, Cleveland Playhouse, Idaho Shakespeare Festival, Great Lakes Theatre. Headliner with the Omaha Symphony and Trancendence Theatre Co.
