Adam Linstead

Biography

Training: Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and Royal Academy of Music where he has since been made an Associate.

Theatre includes: André in The Phantom of the Opera (UK tour), Trevor Nunn’s Fiddler on the Roof (Playhouse), Farris in Broken Wings (Theatre Royal Haymarket, Beiteddine Festival, Lebanon and Qatar Opera House), Les Misérables (West End and Dubai Opera House), Joe Josephson in Merrily We Roll Along (Yvonne Arnaud), Page to Stage (Southwark Playhouse), Old Deuteronomy in Cats (The London Palladium, Munich, Berlin and Frankfurt), Seasonal Sauce (Watermill, Bagnor), Editor Daily in The Cradle Will Rock (Arcola), Grantaire in the 25th anniversary production of Les Misérables (Barbican, Paris and UK tour), The Phantom of the Opera (His Majesty’s/25th Anniversary Concert), Julian in Love Shack (UK tour), West End Girls (Opera House, Jersey), Our Miss Gibbs (Finborough), Poets Revolution (Jermyn Street), Judge Turpin in Sweeney Todd (Jack Lyons Theatre) and Closer Than Ever (King’s Head).

Workshops include: Dad in Lia’s Guide to Winning the Lottery (Perfect Pitch).

Concerts include: Sir Elton John (Wembley Arena/Royal Albert Hall/NEC), Chess in Concert (Royal Albert Hall), Playing Our Part (Cadogan Hall), Classic Spin (St Petersburg, Russia), Classical Brit Awards (Royal Albert Hall/ITV) and Some Enchanted Evening (The Mill at Sonning).

Recordings include: Take Flight, Grantaire in Les Misérables Live! and Farris in Broken Wings.

Film and television include: Kenneth Branagh’s The Magic Flute and ‘Do us a flavour’ (Walker’s Crisps).
